Truth in Comedy Junior brings together youth ages 13–18, professional comedians, mentors, and art therapists to explore storytelling, humor, and creative expression in a supportive environment.
Through creative writing, comedy mentorship, and response art, young people build confidence, connection, and discover the power of their own stories.
The program offers:

Storytelling
Youth learn to shape their experiences into meaningful personal stories, strengthening their confidence, communication skills, and ability to connect with others.
Comedy
Local professional comedians bring humor and perspective to the performance, showing how laughter can create connection, relieve stress, and help us approach difficult experiences in new ways.
Response Art
With the support of an art therapist, youth artists listen to each story and create original artwork inspired by what they hear, transforming emotions, themes, and moments into a powerful visual response.
