Andrea is the founder and CEO of Dallas Art Therapy. She has practiced art therapy for 17 years. She is a graduate of University of Dallas Constantine College and University of West Georgia with a focus in Phenomenology and Humanistic Psychology. She attended Art Therapy Institute, for post graduate studies. She provides services for those experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD and those navigating foster/ adopt journeys. Andrea provides supervision for both art therapy students and LPC Associates.
Melissa is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where she earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and her Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology. She has clinical training in play and activity therapy, expressive arts, and group therapy. In her free time, Melissa enjoys roller skating, making Spotify playlists, crafting, and spending time with friends and family. Melissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and National Certified Counselor under the supervision of Andrea Davis ATR-BC, ATCS, LPC-AT-S.
Allison is a graduate of Hofstra University. She bases her practice upon utilizing art therapy as a means for promoting client’s capabilities, a tool for communication, processing distress, problem solving, introducing coping skills and changing behaviors. Allison operates from a humanistic perspective, but utilizes cognitive behavioral principles as a means to understand behavior. She has a particular passion for working with individuals of all ages who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. Supervised by Andrea Davis ATR-BC, ATCS, LPC-AT-S.
Zofia Dang is a practicum student earning her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Our Lady of the Lake University. She has a lifelong passion for art and loves to assist clients in the exploration of emotions, processing distress, building resilience, and learning coping skills.
Madison is a current undergraduate student at Arizona State University. She is majoring in Counseling & Applied Psychological Sciences and minoring in Family & Human Development. After graduation this year, she plans to pursue a license in Play Therapy/Family Therapy or Art Therapy. She is eager to learn and is passionate about family dynamics, and holistic healing through art and play.
Bianca manages the calls, sets appointments and juggles all of our schedules with grace. She is a mom of four, a design major, and leads daily online workouts for busy moms. She has been with Dallas Art Therapy from the start!
Roma is a 6 year old Yorkshire terrier and has completed three Manners courses at What a Great Dog in Richardson. She is currently working on completing her CDC, Canine Good Citizen certificate. She is contracted with Yes Waiver to provide pet assisted therapy for Dallas Art Therapy.
